"Fourteen years ago a young woman fresh out of college and waiting tables, started the business Metal Morphosis in the basement of her house. Remembering stories her grandmother told her as a little girl she created designs for 2 baby spoons. To this day Kaycee Binns is still the owner and sole designer of all the products featured in the Metal Morphosis line. We have grown from a tiny space in a basement to occupying 3 loft spaces and have a customer base of over 6,000 stores. What it is that sets us apart from all the other great pewter lines that are out there today is the fact that Kaycee is still the exclusive designerof all the products and runs the company.

The fact that all the whimsical and fun products stemmed from childhood stories really makes every piece unique. Our products are not cranked out by the dozen in a huge manufacturing company by a team of designers. Kaycee puts a tremendous amount of time and effort in every single piece to make sure that we maintain the quality that we are known for.

All of our products are made entirely in the USA. Everything is casted in Rhode Island and hand finished in our facility in Atlanta. Nothing is outsourced, not even the packaging. Everything is made of either 100% lead-free pewter or sterling silver. The unique way we finish the pewter and the fact that the pewter actually has a percentage of sterling silver really gives it that exceptional shine. All of our materials are FDA approved. They can easily be polished with a pewter polish found in your local hardware stores."
